Jamie Foxx To File Lawsuit Following Sexual Assault Allegations

Jamie Foxx is not going easy on accusations. The actor who denies the recent sexual assault allegations will file a countersue. The actor is not in a rush to shove the matter under the carpet.

Jamie Foxx Sued over Sexual Assault Claims

The New York Adult Survivor’s Act encouraged victims of abuse to come forward with their stories. Shortly before the time frame expired — Thanksgiving, there was a handful of sexual assault allegations levied on reputable figures.

Apparently, Jamie Foxx did not escape the sexual assault allegations, as a woman claimed that the actor was inappropriate with her. The story goes that they met at a rooftop bar in New York. After the accuser’s friend spotted the celebrity, he welcomed them into his company and preyed on the alleged victim.

According to the lawsuit, Foxx touched her body against her will. It was difficult to break free, as the actor’s team observed without flinching. Her saving grace was her friend, who noticed the unpleasant event.

Jamie Foxx Denies Sexual Assault Allegations

The actor’s camp has been singing the same tune as every other man accused of sexual assault. Jamie Foxx’s legal team deny that the 2015 sexual assault allegation recounted by the woman is false. The actor’s rep shared:

“The alleged incident never happened…In 2020, this individual filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn.”

Following their statement, the lawyers are confident that the case will be thrown out of court again. This time they are not only aiming at redeeming the actor’s image, they intend to teach the accuser a lesson by filing a countersue.

According to their statement per Page Six:

“Mr. Foxx intends to pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against this person and her attorneys for re-filing this frivolous action.”
