Jamie Lynn Spears Talks Fight With Her “Big Sister”

Celebrity families also have the normal dynamics peculiar to most families. While sitting with her fellow competitor, Sam Thompson, on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, Jamie Lynn shared her experience as Britney Spears’ little sister.

As reported by Page Six, the actress maintained that they may have their off days, but Britney is still the best sister in the world. In her words:

“She’s a good big sister, she is. Yeah, I love her. Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what? Families fight. Listen, we just do it better than most.”

Jamie confessed to co-star Thompson that the Spears girls were raised differently. She described her background as complicated, adding that despite being sisters, they reacted differently.

The actress established that some of their disagreements might have been avoided if they had engaged in critical thinking. But while blaming her background for that, Jamie maintained that she never latched onto Britney’s wealth.

Speaking confidently, she shared:

“I’ve never, ever… I’ve been the one person in her life – and she can say this – I’ve never taken anything from her, you know? I’ve been the one person in her life who’s always said, ‘I just want to be your sister.'”

Jamie did not delve deep into the controversy that has ensued for years between her sister and father over the singer’s finances. However, she added that they had a weird life that could not be easily explained. In the end, Jamie said,

“But at the end of the road, I know that that’s my family, and I love them.”
