Keke Palmer wants to move the court date set for the restraining order hearing against her alleged abuser. The actress who levied a series of accusations on her former lover might have had a rethink. Now, sources say a Keke Palmer-Darius Jackson resolve is in the works.

The Initial Keke Palmer Restraining Order Move

Last month, Keke Palmer rushed to court to request a restraining order against her ex-lover and baby daddy. She submitted proof of alleged abuse, including being physically violent with her. Palmer accused Jackson of emotional manipulation and mom-shaming, too.

The heat intensified as she submitted an image showing where they were physically engaged. At the same time, Jackson’s internet outrage following Palmer’s outfit to an Usher performance solidified her claims.

Without any hesitation, the court restrained Jackson from getting close to the mother and child. This episode led to various revelations, including relatives going back and forth online.

Fans caught wind of how Palmer’s mother allegedly threatened to end Jackson’s life. Reportedly, the brother of the accused also maintained that Jackson was indeed a violent person.

Are Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson Looking To Resolve?

After the whole charade, Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson are on a journey to resolve their issues. Page Six shared that the actress filed a document in Los Angeles on Thursday. In the documents, the former lovers decided that the process would begin at a later date. For now, nothing about the D-day has been communicated, except that the date will be a mutual agreement between the pair.

At the same time, the exes agreed to move the court date set for the domestic violence restraining hearing.

Neither party has made any comments. But despite the change of heart, Palmer still appears conscious of her past experiences. While speaking with her mom on her podcast, the actress emphasized:

“So misogyny came at me hard and quick, with the quickness. When I entered outside of my household and I saw that everybody doesn’t really respect their wives or even women in the way that my dad respects my mom, it [was] a pretty rude awakening.”

Whatever her personal experience with misogyny was, it is all behind her now. The actress officially quit her romance with Jackson in October.
