Through the lows and highs of his relationship drama with Palmer, the 29-year-old has remained mute. Now, he appears to be on a new journey to self-discovery and has announced his faith.

The Duo’s Romance Was Laced With Abuse And Other Claims

Following Keke Palmer’s attendance at Usher’s Residency, her romance with her ex, Darius Jackson, got the heat. The 29-year-old, who welcomed a son with the actress in February, went online to pour out his frustrations. He maintained that his former beau, who was serenaded by Usher, was inappropriately dressed.

While this appeared to be the end of their beautiful love story, the pair stepped out a few weeks later. But then, the cookie crumbled. In November, Keke Palmer rushed to the court for a restraining order against Jackson, citing abuse and other claims.

She alleged that he assaulted her physically and emotionally and tried to steal her phone. Without hesitation, the court granted her request. Consequently, Palmer sought sole custody of their son, leading insiders to add that Sharon, Palmer’s mom, threatened Jackson’s life.

Somehow, the duo found a common ground and decided to bring in their dirty linen. As of now, they have decided upon mediation while awaiting their rescheduled date for the custody hearing.

Keke Palmer’s ex is now a new man whose inspiration comes from God. Page Six highlighted that the 29-year-old confessed to his Instagram fans on December 14. First, he dropped clips from his workout session before downloading his new agenda.

Darius, who claimed to have repented and baptized, maintained that his newfound faith set restrictions to his composure.

He quipped, “There’s A LOT I can say but not allowed to say. And at this point, don’t even want to say.
I have put my trust, patience, timing & entire life onto him so that I can continue to get through the days.”

Fortunately, Palmer’s ex has a village behind him. Apart from God, he showed appreciation to his family and friends who have been supportive of the new life.
