In a recent interview, Kevin Hart did not find it funny hearing Tasha K and Miesha Shakes talk about him. On Dec. 22, the Unwine with Tasha K host shared a video via her YouTube channel. The bait for viewers was a preview titled “The interview that Kevin Hart will WISH NEVER CAME OUT!!”

The details enshrined in the post included Shakes exposing her former bosses’ office affair. Meanwhile, she had notified Kevin’s wife, Eniko, concerning his habit. Shakes told Tasha K that during her time as Kevin’s former assistant, he had gambling problems.

Kevin Hart Sues Miesha Shakes and Tasha K Over Explosive Interview

The actor filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the report gathered by People, Miesha Shakes was Kevin Hart’s former assistant from 2017 to 2020. Allegedly, a few years after leaving her position as an assistant, Shakes found it necessary to share what she witnessed in his home.

However, the interviewer, Youtuber, Tasha K —birth name Latasha Kebes, pulled the blackmail card on Kevin Hart. Someone close to her reached out to the actor requesting $250,000 to quiet things down. The person informed Kevin that a damaging interview had been recorded.

In response, the 44-year-old put out a cease and desist order to Kebes. This meant that she was not to share the interview. On top of that, he referenced the nondisclosure agreement signed with his former assistant. This meant that her side of the story would highlight the breach of contract.

But that was not the focus of the lawsuit Kevin Hart filed against his former assistant and Tasha K. According to People, the interview recorded “false and defamatory statements regarding Hart and certain legal disputes in which he had been involved.”

Another part of the lawsuit read:

“Kebe has an established history of posting defamatory and otherwise improper content regarding celebrities.”

This is not the first time that Tasha K would be dragged to court by a known face. Last month, Jada Pinkett Smith threatened a lawsuit after a defaming interview with the Youtuber and Duane Martin. Martin had a fallout with the Smiths and made never-before-heard revelations about the actor.
