During The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 reunion, Larsa Pippen discussed her divorce from Scottie Pippen and the financial aspects of their split. Despite it being six years since their marriage ended, Larsa wanted to address a specific issue regarding their divorce settlement. She provided new insight into her financial situation during the reunion, per Bravo.
During the Season 6 reunion, Larsa opened up about the reasons behind her increased dedication to her multiple businesses after her separation from the former basketball player. She revealed,
“When I was going through my whole divorce, for six years, I didn’t get a nickel! I had to make it on my own.”
Since then, Larsa has successfully established herself as a brand, venturing into various endeavors such as creating her own jewelry line, hosting a podcast, and building a strong presence as an influencer on social media platforms, which also includes OnlyFans.
She explained,
“There’s nothing worse than being in a relationship where you can’t leave because you are financially stuck because of your partner. That’s like, the worst.”
If you’re unaware, back in Oct. 2016, both Larsa and Scottie filed for divorce. Although they appeared to make an attempt to reconcile in February 2017, the divorce later became official in December 2021.
