Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, married Tony Hawk’s son, Riley Hawk, on October 7, 2023, in Los Angeles, California. The couple obtained a marriage license in San Diego County the month prior.

Frances Bean Cobain is a 31-year-old visual artist and musician, while Riley Hawk is a 30-year-old professional skateboarder. The couple has been dating since early 2021. The wedding ceremony was officiated by Michael Stipe, the frontman of the band R.E.M., who is also Frances Bean Cobain’s godfather.
