An alleged mishap over laughing about someone farting on a bus in Las Vegas ended in a shooting incident, reports FOX5. Last month, Dominic Johnson, a 25-year-old with a criminal history, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and battery for a May 3, 2023 shooting. Johnson was taken into custody by officials in Eudora, Arkansas, and was later placed in the Clark County Detention Center.

In the incident, Johnson, a bus passenger, rose, retrieved a gun from his waistband, and aimed it at another passenger. He fired four shots before leaving the scene. The victim suffered injuries to his hand, stomach, and leg. Officials in Eudora, Arkansas, took Johnson into custody and then transferred him to the Clark County Detention Center.

The shooting victim told officials that he and his girlfriend giggled about the smell of a fart. Surveillance footage revealed that Johnson seemed annoyed by the laughter of the victim and his girlfriend, which allegedly led to his aggressive actions.

The police were able to identify Johnson through previous booking photos and his social media profile. A subsequent search of his residence resulted in the discovery of a gun, ammunition, and clothing. Johnson’s past firearm theft conviction barred him from gun possession. During a court hearing, they set his bail at $270,000, and scheduled a preliminary hearing for later this month.
