A man in Belgium was taken into custody after he recorded himself pouring various substances, including feces, onto unsuspecting metro passengers as part of a YouTube prank, reports Complex.

The individual, known as

“Y.D.,”

mixed different materials, such as paint, excrement, and food, into buckets and threw them at passengers to gain more social media

“likes.”

Y.D. was arrested on January 2, admitting to the act, and now faces charges, including assault and battery. Known as YaNike, he has about 300 YouTube subscribers, and his prank videos are still online.

According to an Instagram profile connected to him, YaNike is 22 years old and has posted a total of 16 videos on YouTube. Some of these videos are titled

“surprise du chef,”

which means

“chef’s surprise”

in English.

One of YaNike’s most popular videos, titled

“Suprise du chef (6),”

was posted on November 28 and has garnered 34,000 views. In this video, YaNike can be seen filling an empty paint bucket with a mixture of oil, beer, water, dog feces, and fallen leaves, as indicated by the video captions. He then proceeds to pour this mixture onto a train passenger.

The prosecutor’s office says about seven of YaNike’s videos have similar incidents. A victim complained in November about an incident in Auderghem, Brussels, according to Sudinfo and Politico. STIB, the local transportation operator, has also filed a complaint, as per Politico.
