A Maryland man posing as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer was arrested after allegedly holding a woman at gunpoint and forcing her to perform oral sex to avoid deportation, police said per Fox News.
Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Victor Antonio Reed. On Tuesday, the Prince George’s County Police Department Sexual Assault Unit received a call around 8:15 p.m. about a rape that occurred at a shopping mall parking lot.
The victim, a Hispanic woman, said Reed approached her with a badge and claimed he was an ICE agent. Reed told the lady she had to sit inside his car or face deportation. The woman told police she was
“terrified”
and pleaded with Reed not to deport her, even offering him money.
Reed reportedly took $100 from the victim but said she could not yet leave until she performed oral sex on him. The victim initially refused Reed’s request but was threatened again with deportation and was shown a gun that was in the backseat of the vehicle. After complying the woman said Reed continued to assault her before letting her go.
She contacted police immediately who were able to track down the suspect using surveillance video from the shopping center and photos of Reed’s vehicle.
Reed was arrested at a traffic stop on Thursday, reports note. He faces several charges including,
“first and second-degree rape, impersonating a law enforcement officer, armed robbery and theft,”
police say.
