In a recent incident reported by the Forsyth County deputies, a bank robber’s plans were foiled thanks to the courageous actions of an employee who fearlessly confronted the criminal, leaving the would-be thief empty-handed.

Deputies told Channel 2 Action News that an unidentified man walked into Regions Bank on McGinnis Ferry Road and passed the manager a note that read,

“Give me all your 20s, 50s, and 100s.”

To which the manager responded,

“No, you need to leave,”

handing the robber his note back, deputies said.

According to a witness, the alleged suspect raised his jacket in a manner that suggested he might be armed. However, no visible firearm was observed.

Following the manager’s repeated request to leave, the man eventually exited the bank. Law enforcement officials have described the individual, noting that he stands approximately six feet tall and appears to be in his early 30s. They are asking anyone with information about the identity of this individual, to contact Forsyth County deputies.
