A woman from Indiana, 59-year-old Susan Early, was discovered with a knife stuck in her head after she was reportedly stabbed by her son several times. Luckily, the woman survived. The woman was found lying on her front lawn with the knife still embedded in her skull. Although the woman suffered from multiple injuries, officials say she remained
“alert and conscious.”
The mother informed officials that her son, Kyle Braun, 31, reportedly assaulted her inside the kitchen and then left the residence before 12:30 p.m. Neighbors, who helped the woman when she went outside screaming from inside the residence, pointed officials in the direction that Bruan fled.
Early was transported to the hospital where she had emergency surgery. The 31-year-old man was taken into custody after officers searched the neighborhood. He was treated at a hospital for minor wounds and was later apprehended for attempted murder. He is also facing a charge of battery by bodily waste on an officer for allegedly spitting on a cop during his arrest, reports The Post.
Jennifer Barrett, Brownsburg Police Cpt., informed Fox59 that Bruan left a mental health facility in Ohio as well as had a warrant out for his arrest. She said,
“The best we can tell is he had left a facility, a mental health facility, where he was being monitored by the Ohio parole officers.”
“But he had cut that GPS monitoring device and left and the last time they had [seen] him was March 23,”
she continued.
