NeNe Leakes Sued After Reportedly Failing To Pay Landlord Over $22K In Rent At Swagg Boutique

It looks like former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, NeNe Leakes, owes $22,900 to the landlord of her old boutique, Swagg Boutique, reports TMZ. If you’re unaware, the former reality star opened a boutique in Sugarloaf Mills, Georgia back in 2017. She also had other stores in Florida and Maryland. She shut down temporarily back in 2020 because of the pandemic; however, despite her reopening, she later organized sales labeled as

“going out of business”

across her various stores.

The landlord at the Sugarloaf Mills, Georgia store alleges that Leakes extended the agreement in 2021 for an additional year. Reports say she originally signed the contract back in 2017. Once the agreement ceased in 2022, she reportedly failed to pay the remaining balance.

The landlord says, last month, a letter was sent to Leakes notifying her to pay the balance in an effort to avoid legal consequences. As a response to her allegedly failing to pay the debt, the unidentified landlord is now taking legal action to pay for the back rent as well as attorney fees.
