New Jersey Man Arrested After Kidnapping 12-Year-Old Off Of Street And Assaulting Her In His Home

A Jersey man is now in police custody after kidnapping a 12-year-old girl and sexually assaulting her in his home, News 12 New Jersey reported.

On March 17th, at around 10 P.M., the victim was walking home from a nearby movie theater when Keith Ashley-Drake noticed her. After coaxing her into his vehicle, the 52-year-old sexual predator took her to his home in Fanwood, where he sexually assaulted her.

Though details of how the middle schooler was able to return home remain unclear, prosecutors say that an investigation led to Ashley-Drake being identified as the suspect. On March 31st, the pedophile was arrested and charged with first-degree kidnapping, first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The child rapist is currently being held in the Essex County Jail, where he is awaiting his bond hearing.
