Meet Candice Tavares, an art enthusiast, creator, illustrator, sculptor, and palliative care pharmacist. She is the mind behind Nollerx Studios and Exhibits. Her art pieces are influenced by her life experiences and her dedication to Black and Brown people. Through her passion, she created this company to produce art pieces that represent the Black experience in a segmented America, highlighting our strengths and impact on wider society.
Nollerx’s art pieces are designed to challenge negative narratives surrounding Blackness in America and evoke an emotional response when experienced. Her pieces aim to bring an awakening to Black consciousness and evoke feelings of love and tranquility in the mind and soul.
Noellerx aims to bring value and celebrate culture, as well as foster a sense of beauty that is inherent in everybody through love and encouragement to see ourselves as God intended.
Noellerx is a Black-owned enterprise that brings positive change to Black and Brown communities through its not-for-profit contributions to different studios and galleries in marginalized neighborhoods and communities.
