The gworls are faux fighting again!
It seems like former “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Teairra Mari got in her feelings all over again when a video clip of Keri Hilson recently talking beef from 13 years ago came up, Complex reports.
At issue, Hilson sat down with “R&B Money” podcast hosts Tank and J Valentine in October for their ‘I Ain’t Saying No Names’ segment and alluded to having issues with Mar. She rehashed a time when she almost swung on Teairra Mari after a concert. Hilson said she felt disrespected by Mari who refused to stand at her concert like everyone else who was vibing and on their feet.
The Pretty Girl Rock singer peeped Mari sitting down and looking like she was not unimpressed, which irked Hilson.
“We all know how important it is to give love to other performers especially when you happen to be sitting on the front row of their show,” she said on the podcast about the concert that happened between 12-13 years ago.
When Mari went backstage, Hilson, 40, ultimately confronted her about the perceived lack of support. That’s when the two almost went to blows.
“I said something, and we almost got to scrapping,” Hilson noted.
Mari, 35, learned of Hilson talking about the incident yet again and set social media off.
“Y’all , people gotta leave me alone. I don’t bother anybody, just leave me the f–k alone,” she wrote under a comment on The Neighborhood Talk. “So now, Keri! what’s up you wanna fight or do you not want to fight because I’m gonna whoop your a– when I see you.”
Mari continued, “I’m sick of you people bothering me! You had a whole different story when I was in your face you’re a liar b—h!!”
According to reports, Keri tried to calm the waters and apologized to Teairra’s comment.
“I’m responding to this because I don’t wanna allow anything to bring us back to a place we’ve long passed. And since it was a public story that got connected to you in public, it deserves a public apology. I’m sorry for telling the story especially with the energy & hurtful words that I used.”
She continued saying it was “unnecessary because my feelings and energy at this point, in this present moment are nothing but love… no ill will or vitriol towards you. It’s an old story that I see now we’ve both told. I hope you’re doing well in this season & wishing you all the best in life.”
That was very big of Keri to squash the old beef.
