Police On The Hunt For Teenage Murder Suspect Who Escaped From Philadelphia Hospital

Philadelphia police are currently searching for a teenage murder suspect who managed to escape from a hospital, and is “considered dangerous,” the department announced per ABC News.

Philadelphia police are currently searching for a teenage murder suspect who managed to escape from a hospital, and is

“considered dangerous,”

the department announced per ABC News. The suspect, identified as 17-year-old Shane Pryor, was being held on murder charges. 

Pryor fled from the emergency room parking lot of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on Wednesday after being brought in for a hand injury.

“He was able to escape from staff and run from this area on foot,”

Deputy Commissioner of Investigations Frank Venore said. Pryor is described as a Black male with a light complexion, standing at 5’7″ and weighing 180 pounds.

He was last seen in the University Avenue and Civic Center Boulevard area wearing blue sweatpants, a blue sweatshirt, and slides with socks. Surveillance footage showed Pryor entering and exiting buildings in the vicinity after his escape. 

Authorities believe Pryor is no longer in the immediate vicinity. If anyone has any information about Pryor’s whereabouts, they are urged to call 911 and avoid approaching the suspect.
