Founded in 2012, Popcorn, now branded as Pipsnacks, developed when Jeff Martin and his sister Jen found those tiny heirloom popping kernels. They learned to love these healthier, yet great-tasting snacks and located the Indiana farmer who grew them from his family’s heirloom seed stock.
Partnering with Jeff’s wife, Teresa, they gave birth to Pipsnacks. Popcorn has been a women-owned, minority-owned, and family business for almost eight years, with many achieved milestones.
Through all the struggle, the company is extremely thankful, reacting to a profound love of snacks, even those created from heirloom corn.
