Rich the Kid has himself to blame for the arrest following a bomb threat in Miami Beach. Not to make fun of his name, but he did act like a kid following instructions from the cops. His arrest was made while the authorities swept the area to ensure it was safe from a bomb.

Rich The Kid Gets Confrontational Before His Arrest

TMZ gained first-hand information from the cop who arrested Rich The Kid. According to the outlet, the rapper was one of the attendants at the Miami Beach for Art Bassel. They received information of a bomb threat in the Miami Beach area, particularly the SLS Hotel in South Beach.

Without hesitation, the authorities responded with men on the ground to comb the property. As they inspected the area, they restricted other civilians on site from parading. This was done by placing a traditional police tape around the premises.

However, Rich The Kid thought he could go through the barricade. At first, the rapper explained to an officer how important it was for him to enter the suspected bomb site. But this fell on deaf ears as the police maintained their position and warned him of flouting the order. They intended to search the area intensely without any disturbance. Rich The Kid was warned that his persistence would lead to an arrest.
This did not dissuade him from trying. So after chiming in, “I’ll bond out in 20 minutes,” he added, “Stop me.”

Rich The Kid In Trouble For Invading A Restricted Area To Get To His Room

The police threat did little to tell Rich the Kid to back up, and as expected, the result was an arrest. After he scaled a fence into the hotel, the rapper met with a K-9 unit. Still, this did not scare Rich The Kid, who proceeded to the driveway. Eventually, the cops clamped down on him, taking him to the cop shop.

So, while the police were investigating a Miami Beach bomb threat, they arrested Rich The Kid over two crimes. First, he trespassed the area and resisted arrest.
