Sha’Carri Richardson’s Dallas ISD track honor comes just in time. Shortly after she broke the fastest woman in the world record and other personal barriers, the 23-year-old gets the recognition every successful athlete desires.

Sha’Carri Richardson Gets Dallas ISD Track

Over the weekend, Sha’Carri Richardson received a nod from the people of Dallas, who honored her with an ISD Track. The female version of Usain Bolt was spotted looking chic and overly excited at the event held on Friday. She brought on anger A-game, ready to share her story with the audience while looking like her own perfect Barbie.

Richardson, who is known for her long nails and heavily beautified face even when running, showed up at the honorary event in a yellow mini skirt and crop top jacket. She looked sassy, adding a pair of stilettos while letting her black jet hair run loosely past her shoulders.

As a 23-year-old girl, she had inspiring stories to tell. While on stage, Richardson explained:

“I see that little girl who stood right here at Kincade. Told my mama I want to be great. I told my godparents i want to be better. Told my family I want to take care of them, and being right here in that moment, able to look back and see that I’m able to do that and more, I don’t want to stop,”

The event, officiated in her alma mater, showed that the John Kincade Stadium track was named after Richardson. According to Fox 4, students and school executives were proud to have her around. They applauded, praised, and questioned her.

Who Is Sha’Carri Richardson, The Fastest Woman Alive

Richardson is a determined young woman who never resigned to failure. She ran track at Carter and bagged a state champion medal eight times. Her dreams for athletics did not obstruct her passion for learning. As a Kathleen Gilliam Collegiate Academy student, she graduated with 50 college hours.

The fastest woman in the world credits Wilma Rudolph and Flo-Jo for inspiring her Britney. For her, these women were not restricted by their societal tags.

Richardson, recently banned from the Tokyo Olympics due to drug screening, did not allow that to limit her success either. In August, during her competition in Budapest, Hungary, she set a new record by emerging victorious in the 100-meter world title in 10.65 seconds.

Apart from inspiring young women, the entire city of Dallas has recognized her efforts in sports. The city has now declared November 10, 2023, as Sha’Carri Richardson Day.
