Vocalist further stated that despite the challenges she faced, she is glad she took the leap of faith and doesn’t have any regrets about her decision to walk away from her 25-year marriage.

When asked about her marriage and regrets, Bello had this to say:

“I don’t think I have any regrets in life. One of the things I used to consider a regret was leaving my ex-husband and children in the U.S. and coming to Nigeria and losing all of that.”

The actress mentioned that her divorce from her ex-husband, Mr. Akinrimisi, used to be her biggest regret. However, she now sees it differently because God used it to turn her life around.

“Years later, my children and I were talking. We always sit and talk. So, I started telling my children about things. And one of my kids, my daughter, told me something that was even more important to me. She said, ‘Mummy, I’m so glad you did what you did because seeing you go after your dream made me realize that I should go after mine. At your age, you can do this. That means I can do it too. There’s no limitation.’ That used to be my regret, but look at how God turned it around. So, it’s no longer a regret.”
