In a 7 minute and 50 second impassioned speech on his Youtube, Smith said that he was initially hesitant to spend so much money on tickets, but he’s glad he did. He said that the concert was
“an experience of a lifetime”
and that his daughters were
“blown away.”
Smith’s praise for Swift is notable because he is not typically known for being a fan of pop music. However, he said that he was impressed by Swift’s vocals, stage presence, and energy.
