A Purdue University student named Mohamed Bouftas has been found guilty of forging professors’ signatures to change his grades. Bouftas initially appeared to have a grade-point average of 3.85, but it was later discovered that his actual GPA is 1.68. Initially, Bouftas faced multiple charges, including forgery, fraud, and corrupt business influence. A man from Ceres, California has been sentenced to prison after being found guilty of cyberstalking and blackmailing a guest who stayed in his mother’s Airbnb rental, Insider reported.

Kevin Strutz, aged 51, pleaded guilty to two counts of cyberstalking earlier this year. The incident occurred in 2020 when Strutz began cyberstalking a young woman who had rented a room in his mother’s home through Airbnb. According to the complaint, Strutz and his mother were living in the home when the incident occurred. One day, she came across a disturbing message —

At the time, Airbnb said they had been cooperating with the FBI during the investigation.

“We have no tolerance for the reported behavior and worked quickly to support the survivor once she brought it to our attention, including banning the associated host accounts from our platform at the time,”

    the company told CBS News.

According to prosecutors, Strutz continued to harass the woman for several months. Surprisingly to her, she received a nude image of herself from when she showered in the Airbnb bathroom from Strutz, prosecutors allege. He threatened to send the photo of her to everyone she knew unless she sent him a video of herself masturbating. The woman blocked Strutz’s accounts and reported the incident to the police again.

It was later revealed that Strutz had secretly filmed the woman using a hidden cell phone in the bathroom. Strutz was convicted on two counts of stalking, in addition to a separate incident involving threats towards another victim. He was recently sentenced to over three years in prison, along with supervised release and a fine. Before this conviction, Strutz had a criminal record that included stalking, burglary, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon.

2 Men Charged for Allegedly Attempting to Dig Up Relatives Grave at Missouri Cemetery

According to the St. Louis County Prosecutors Office, two individuals have been charged after an incident involving an attempted grave excavation at a cemetery in Missouri, per Fox News

Jimmie V. Allen and Zebulun Nash, both 73 years old, were apprehended in August while digging dirt out of a gravesite at Washinton Park Cemetery in Berkeley, Missouri. As per KSDK-TV, Nash confessed to authorities that he intended to relocate his grandmother’s remains, with Allen assisting him.

However, Missouri law mandates a state order for exhumation, leading to both men being charged on Wednesday for attempting to damage or deface cemetery property, as reported by KSDK. Witness Kiesha Wayne told the local outlet that one of the men

“said that they paid somebody to dig up the body, but they got ripped off, so they took it upon themselves to dig up the body.“

Apparently, the deceased relative was supposed to be moved to another cemetery, reports reveal.

Berkeley Police Chief, Art Jackson, told the station that he was

    “amazed”

    and in his

“twenty-nine years of doing this work, we’ve never had any issues or incidents like that,”

    he added.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court next month.
