Florida Woman Caught Stealing $800 Worth Of Goods From Walmart, Allegedly Tries To Eat Counterfeit Cash

Zipporah Abraham, a 38-year-old woman from Florida, has been apprehended and charged with third-degree grand theft and uttering forged bills following an incident at a Walmart store in North Miami Beach, reports Fox News.

Zipporah Abraham, a 38-year-old woman from Florida, has been apprehended and charged with third-degree grand theft and uttering forged bills following an incident at a Walmart store in North Miami Beach, reports Fox News

According to an arrest affidavit, a Walmart loss prevention officer was alerted to Abraham’s attempt to use counterfeit money for her purchases. Surveillance footage revealed her placing various items in a storage bin and carefully plotting her exit strategy without paying. Abraham was stopped by the officer, leading to her detainment for investigation. 

The unpaid items hidden in the bin amounted to $864.77. In a bizarre twist, Abraham tried to consume $200 worth of counterfeit bills while being taken into custody. She has been held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with her bond set at $10,000. 

Walmart employees also discovered that Abraham had prior offenses at the store, making her a repeat offender.
