Jalin A. White, a 20-year-old from Milwaukee, has been charged with severe child abuse and neglect after allegedly injuring his eight-month-old son.

According to the criminal complaint, White became frustrated while playing the video game NBA2K and threw his son against a wall, reportedly because he was losing in the game, Law & Crime reports.

Initially, White gave conflicting accounts to authorities, claiming the baby’s injuries were accidental. However, he later admitted to throwing the child in anger.

  • Mother Seeks Answers After 23-Year-Old Son Was Discovered Hanging From A Tree Less Than A Month After Moving To Misssissippi

Mother Seeks Answers After 23-Year-Old Son Was Discovered Hanging From A Tree Less Than A Month After Moving To Misssissippi

A family is grieving after learning their relative, James Cooper, 23, was discovered hanging from a tree less than a month after moving to Greenville, Mississippi, according to a GoFundMe campaign launched by Cooper’s family to help bring him home for a proper funeral. Cooper relocated to Mississippi from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his girlfriend on April 28 to seek a better life. Family members received a call from Greenville officials on May 10 revealing that Cooper was discovered hanging from a tree.

Cooper’s relatives are seemingly seeking answers as it was disclosed on the GoFundMe page that it’s unclear if Cooper’s death was a result of suicide or a homicide. A woman, under the Facebook name, Nadine Hale, who revealed herself as Cooper’s mother confessed that she couldn’t find a lawyer to aid her in her son’s case. She went on to reveal that the initial information she was giving has been retracted.

She wrote in a Facebook post,

“I’m so hurt I can’t find a lawyer to help fight my son’s case. I guess they figure I should’ve reached out when it first happened even tho it’s still under investigation. I’m also piss’d they didn’t preserve my baby body. I was told my baby’s body was intact and looked good despite the hot weather down there. Then when it was time for him to come home they couldn’t embalm him cause he was deteriorating from the inside out. They never stored him in a cold refrigeration. I was told one thing about his death and now it’s being backtracked. My Son was down there a whole week and no one wanted to give the coroner my number not even the detective. I feel I dropped the ball and let my Son down .. I’ll never forgive myself..”

    According to the GoFundMe page,

“Losing James has left a giant hole in everyone’s lives. His good looks, great outgoing personality, and his huge heart full of love for his family and friends made him a delight to be around… James was the funniest and most loving member of our family. He was the glue that held us all together.”

A white lawyer who spat on a black high school student during an anti-racism march in Milwaukee in 2020 has chosen to go to jail over probation, AP News reported.

Stephanie Rapkin, 67, a Shorewood attorney was found guilty of

    “misdemeanor disorderly conduct”

in April in connection to the incident, reports reveal.

    “organized and led the march,”

and other protestors who asked her to move. Rapkins then hocked up a loogie and spat it at the boy.

She was arrested and charged with a hate crime that was later reduced. “kneed him in the groin.”

1-Year-Old Dies In Car Crash After Woman Steals Vehicle With Him In Backseat, Reports Say

Sadly, a 1-year-old boy, Zarion Robinson, from Milwaukee has passed away after an

    “acquaintance”

of his mother reportedly stole her vehicle and crashed it while the boy was in the backseat of the car, officials say, according to the New York Post

Robinson was declared deceased at the Children’s Hospital on Saturday at 1:10 a.m. not too long after the tragic crash. Robinson wasn’t secure in the seat during the incident and reports say he turned 13 months the same day he was declared dead.

As Robinson’s mother ran outside, the 31-year-old woman drove off in the white Pontiac, which was demolished in a two-car crash not too long after. Officials discovered the young boy crying in his car seat, which was facing toward the ground in the backseat. The child and the driver were transported to the hospital, where he was later declared dead and the driver was allegedly treated for her injuries before she was arrested.  Officials say the driver in the other vehicle left the scene.

Mikayla Tweedie, Zarion’s mother told the Wisconsin Journal Sentinel that the woman who stole the car was an

    “acquaintance”

who was initially sitting in the back of the car before stealing the car.

“Me and my cousin went inside to drop my cousin’s cat off…She took it upon herself to hop in the driver’s seat and pull off with my child in the car. I called her and said I don’t care about the car, I just want my baby back,”

    said the mother.

She went on to confess that she didn’t know why she took her car. She added,

“I knew her well enough to think she wouldn’t do something like that.”

    Eddie Anthony, Robinson’s father said,

“He didn’t deserve it, he had a lot of life ahead of him. Like I said, gone but never forgotten, but it’s a lot of heartache that we will never get over. Everybody’s going to think about it every day, every minute, every second, so it’s tough, it’s hard.”
