  • Finesse2tymes in Federal Custody Following Arrest for Terroristic Threats, Reportedly Violated Supervised Release

Finesse2tymes in Federal Custody Following Arrest for Terroristic Threats, Reportedly Violated Supervised Release

Finesse2tymes has been taken back into federal custody, with prosecutors claiming that his arrest for making terroristic threats in Texas violated the terms of his supervised release, as reported by TMZ. His attorney, Carl A. Moore, confirmed to TMZ that Finesse turned himself in to authorities on Friday and is now in federal custody.

Prosecutors allege he violated his supervised release on three different occasions, according to documents obtained by TMZ. They state that he failed two drug tests—one in 2022 and another in 2024—both of which reportedly showed positive results for marijuana. The third alleged violation is connected to his arrest for terroristic threats in Texas earlier this year.

A warrant was issued for Finesse’s arrest due to an alleged incident in October 2024 involving King, a child star whom Finesse2tymes was mentoring. King’s former guardian claims that Finesse revealed a gun hidden under his shirt and said he would “up that fire,” a phrase from Memphis slang meaning to pull a gun. The woman reported the threat to authorities. She believed Finesse was capable of following through on the threat and expressed that she feared for her safety, reports note.

TMZ spoke with Moore in January, and he denied the claims. He stated that Finesse never threatened anyone and emphasized that they were “confident this matter will be resolved justly once the state of Texas applies the applicable law to the facts.” Finesse2tymes has been under supervised release since his release from prison in July 2022, where he served just over three and a half years of a five-year sentence for possessing a firearm as a former felon. His next hearing is set for May 8.

  • Teacher Accused of Using Electronic Dog Whistle on 6-Year-Old Student with Autism When He Became ‘Loud’

Teacher Accused of Using Electronic Dog Whistle on 6-Year-Old Student with Autism When He Became ‘Loud’

A Texas woman, who was an elementary school teacher, is accused of using an electronic dog whistle on one of her students to get him to comply, according to Law&Crime.

As per arrest documents obtained by local CBS affiliate KWTX, 46-year-old #AmberEscamilla was arrested on Tuesday and charged with injury to a child or disabled person. The documents reveal that Escamilla was teaching a 6-year-old boy with autism and allegedly used the electronic dog whistle “when he got overstimulated.” The boy’s parents informed the police that their son wore earmuffs to school due to his heightened sensitivity to loud noises.

KWTX reported that detectives from the Waco Independent School District police were notified by Child Protective Services about potential abuse involving a student at Bell’s Hill Elementary School. According to the arrest documents, in November 2024, Escamilla allegedly “came into the break room and placed a device on the table, telling co-workers that she had this for when the victim ‘gets loud.’”

Texas Teacher is Reported by Witnesses

The school principal informed detectives that she confiscated an electronic dog whistle from Escamilla that same month. When questioned about the device, Escamilla reportedly claimed that she only meant to use the dog whistle outside and that she had only ever used it once on the school playground. She further stated to detectives, according to the arrest documents, that “she would only exhibit the whistle to the victim as a threat to gain compliance.”

However, a witness provided a sworn statement saying that in September 2024, “she entered the defendant’s classroom and observed the defendant utilizing the electronic whistle to gain compliance of the victim,” as reported by KWTX. Escamilla is no longer working at Bell’s Hill Elementary School, according to a spokesperson from the Waco Independent School District. She has been charged with injury to a child or disabled person and was jailed with a bond set at $3,000.

Texas Dad Reportedly Told 10-Year-Old Girl to Drive Truck, Resulting in Crash That Killed 6-Year-Old Boy

A man from Lufkin, Texas, is facing a charge of criminally negligent homicide after he reportedly asked a 10-year-old girl to move his pickup truck on Sunday, resulting in a deadly crash. While driving the vehicle, the girl struck a porch with a 6-year-old boy on it, leading to his death as reported by local ABC affiliate KTRE TV

Clinton Earl Johnson Jr., 31, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the incident, which occurred while he and his family were grilling. According to a document from the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office obtained by KTRE, Johnson’s 6-year-old stepson was looking at a cellphone on the porch while the 10-year-old girl was riding her tricycle around the driveway.

At one point, the girl complained that Johnson’s truck was blocking her path, prompting him to allegedly tell her to “scoot it up,” according to an arrest document from CBS 19. Johnson later told investigators that the girl had driven on backroads before, according to KYTX TV. However, the boy’s mother informed the sheriff’s department that when her daughter was behind the wheel, she “got confused” and hit the gas, causing the truck to crash into the porch, KTRE reported.

When deputies from the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office arrived, they discovered several boards and poles scattered on the ground, along with Johnson’s stepson lying in front of the truck. The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Deputies noted that they detected the smell of alcohol on both Johnson and the boy’s mother, who allegedly admitted to having three or four drinks each. On Tuesday, Johnson was taken to the Angelina County Jail and charged with state jail felony criminally negligent homicide. He was later released after posting a $3,000 bond.

In a news release issued on Thursday, May 1, the department store chain stated that Ashley Buchanan’s employment was ended after he had been in the position for nearly four months. “An investigation conducted by outside counsel and overseen by the Audit Committee of the Board determined Mr. Buchanan violated company policies by directing the Company to engage in vendor transactions that involved undisclosed conflicts of interest, which the Board determined to be cause,” Kohl’s said in its statement.

On Easter Sunday, Louis “Gus” Serbeck, 54, and his daughter went to confront Eric D. Hannah, 55, and his son “J.H.”, 17, after Serbeck’s daughter informed him that “J.H.” had assaulted her at his residence the previous day, as reported by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.

  • Trump Terminates Kamala Harris’s Husband Doug Emhoff, Reports Say

Trump Terminates Kamala Harris’s Husband Doug Emhoff, Reports Say

The Trump administration has terminated former second gentleman Doug Emhoff, on Tuesday, according to the NY Post

Emhoff was on the board that governs the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.

Emhoff, who is married to former Vice President Kamala Harris, was one of several appointees from the Biden administration that President Trump removed from the board.

    Douglas Emhoff Speaks Out

“Today, I was informed of my removal from the United States Holocaust Memorial Council,” Emhoff posted on X.

“Let me be clear: Holocaust remembrance and education should never be politicized. To turn one of the worst atrocities in history into a wedge issue is dangerous — and it dishonors the memory of six million Jews murdered by Nazis that this museum was created to preserve,” he added. Emhoff, who is Jewish, was a member of former President Joe Biden’s White House antisemitism task force. He was hired following a significant increase in antisemitic incidents after the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel. He joined the board in January and was expected to serve a five-year term.

An email from the White House Presidential Personnel Office, on behalf of President Donald J. Trump, stated, “I am writing to inform you that your position as a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council is terminated, effective immediately.” The email informed several board members, including Emhoff, of their dismissal. Concluding with a note of gratitude: “Thank you for your service.”

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told the outlet that, “President Trump looks forward to appointing new individuals who will not only continue to honor the memory of those who perished in the Holocaust, but who are also steadfast supporters of the State of Israel,” she said in a statement.
