The shooting at the Kansas City parade had left the family of Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan, aka Lisa, with a grieving heart. On Thursday, a GoFundMe was set up to help those that she left behind, and Taylor Swift added a whooping $100k to show her support. The singer did not leave without a heartfelt message while adding her signature.

Taylor Swift Gives $100k To Kansas City Shooting Deceased Victim’s Family

Lisa was not given a choice when she had her life taken from her during an unfortunate shooting that happened in the Kansas City parade. Sadly, she left behind two kids and a husband. Apart from the grief that had been etched on their hearts, taking care of the finances for Lisa’s memorial was also paramount.

A GoFundMe titled Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial was set up with the aim of generating $75,000. It did not take long for people to begin to commit. Some gave as low as $50 and others as high as $4000.

According to TMZ, Taylor showed up with $50,000 at first, before topping it up with the same amount again. With both transactions, she included a message that read:

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”

Over one thousand people have already contributed, but Taylor’s $100k donation to the family of the woman seemed to be the highest. Her generosity shows that she is aware of the hurt others may feel even though she doesn’t share a relationship with them.

Meanwhile, the Bad Blood singer refused to comment on the Kansas City shooting incident as she is currently in Australia working to put her concerts together for the Eras tour. However, her heart is still at home.
