Teacher of the Year Re-Arrested on Additional Charges, Including Possession Of Child Pornography

The Teacher of the Year recipient that was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of child sex abuse has been arrested yet again after posting bail Wednesday. According to NBC Bay Area, a profile announcing her award once praised the pedophile for “the relationships she maintains with her students.”

On March 7th, 34-year-old Jacqueline Ma was arrested on child sexual abuse charges at her place of work, Lincoln Acres Elementary in National City, California. A concerned parent of one of her previous students had notified police after they discovered that Ma was having a sexual relationship with their 13-year-old.

Ma was booked into Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility on three counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, and three counts of oral copulation with a child under 14. A day after posting bail, the sexual predator was arrested once again with additional charges. As of now, she remains in police custody.

San Diego County Sheriff’s Department records show that Ma is now facing 14 new charges relating to possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation of a child, and preventing or dissuading a witness or victim. Due to the victim’s age, National City Police will not be releasing any additional information, but say that the investigation is ongoing. Ma is scheduled to appear in court on March 13th.
