A massage parlor in Plano, Texas has been shut down following allegations that it operated as a front for prostitution, as reported by Fox News. The closure comes after the city launched an investigation into the Tennyson Wellness Center on Preston Road and its owner, Diana Zhang, in response to civil claims.

Numerous complaints were made by citizens regarding inappropriate behavior by massage therapists at the center, including unwanted touching and solicitation of sexual services in exchange for money. Plano has taken legal action by filing a petition for pre-suit discovery in Collin County court, aiming to uncover evidence and potentially pursue legal action against those involved in illegal activities, including owners, landlords, employees, and customers.

The city said it is part of a new strategy to

“identify and hopefully end sex crimes committed at massage establishments.”

“We expect that legal actions will be taken against additional massage establishments in the Plano area in the near future,”

the city said in a statement.
