The Renaissance World Tour was the ninth concert tour by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé.

The highly-anticipated show featured inventive set design, a decades-spanning setlist, and a plethora of standout style moments, from archival pieces to custom looks and nearly everything in between.

Beyoncé debuted numerous new looks over the tour’s run, many of which honored local designers at each stop of the tour. Let’s take a look.

1. Telfar

Despite saying her

“Telfar bag imported,”

It took Beyoncé until her tour’s Seattle stop to sport a look from the New York brand. The red, sequined cut-out bodysuit was certainly worth the wait, and Blue Ivy also had a matching look from Telfar.

Telfar Clemens is a fashion designer and founder of the brand Telfar. Telfar’s collection incorporates unisex designs with the principles of comfortable sportswear and ‘simplexity.’

2. Laquan Smith

New York designer LaQuan Smith crafted this silver, shattered glass bodysuit for the singer’s Amsterdam stop. She paired the plunging piece with an equally disco-worthy cape and heels.

LaQuan Smith is a luxury fashion designer and founder of womenswear clothing brand LaQuan Smith, LLC. Smith serves as the chief executive officer and is based in New York City.

3. Tongoro Studio

Sarah Diouf, the designer behind African brand Tongoro, designed this black-and-white motif bodysuit, gloves, and boots for the singer’s Santa Clara, California show.

The brand was launched in spring 2016. Tongoro is a 100% made-in-Africa label designed and produced in Dakar, Senegal. The brand focuses on understanding the fashion that customers want, offering playful and unique apparel.
