It has been one year since Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict gave up on their marriage, but they still seem friendly. Their recent exchange during the 17th annual ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood red carpet event has caught attention, but fans are not quick to spotlight it as a reunion.

Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict’s Smooth Relationship Falls Apart

For over a decade, Tia and Cory melted hearts. The pair, who exchanged marital vows in 2008, remained inseparable for years. They went on to tell a happy-ever-after story with their two kids. But unexpectedly, in 2023, the love no longer served either party, and they parted ways. The former couple refused to give reasons for their separation, while Cory vehemently denied speculations of cheating.

Despite being single, Tia has not met someone new. Months after her divorce, she complained about being a novice in the dating scene. However, Tia made it clear that she would never return to her marriage amid the tough nature of the single lifestyle.

Fast-forward to the end of the year and fans were shocked to see Tia and Cory next to each other as they posed with their kids. In one of the images, Tia happily rested her arms on Cory’s thighs. But while this may point to a possible reunion, it is not.

Mowry and Hardrict in Each Other’s Embrace

More recently, Tia made what Hollywood may tag as a daring move. While attending the Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards, the 45-year-old waved at her ex-husband. The Jasmine Brand reported that once they were in close range, Tia hugged Cory despite his initial uncertainty.

Somehow, Tia and Cory have redefined co-parenting in Hollywood. Since their divorce, the duo has never spewed bad words about each other’s personalities. They are also in sync when it comes to handling their kids. Photos prove that the exes have no problem making decisions unanimously about their family.
