A Las Vegas woman, Liliana Farias, is facing charges after making terrorist threats. According to police documents, Farias drove recklessly through a cemetery and then called the employees and threatened to kill them, reports KLAS

The incident occurred on Friday, Sept. 22, around 8 a.m. Police were called to Palm Mortuary on South Eastern Avenue after reports of the reckless driving. When officers arrived, Farias had already left; however, the employees received threatening phone calls from her.

Witnesses reported that she was driving a silver Toyota Corolla and was swerving, hitting traffic cones, and honking the horn loudly. She almost hit some bystanders. The superintendent of the property discovered the vehicle parked on the grounds about 20 minutes later and took a photo of the license plate.

The woman close by the vehicle got upset and drove off after cursing at the superintendent. Another employee called the missed number on the mortuary’s phone, and Farias, on the other end complained about the employees being mean and rude to her. She confirmed she was on the property that morning and threatened the employee before hanging up.

Another employee received a call from Farias, who said she would kill all the workers at the mortuary. The woman made more calls, but they were not answered. The employees described her as aggressive. The police later identified Farias by using her phone number and license plate. Farias was also involved in another incident where she tossed stuff at staff members in a treatment center and made threatening phone calls to them.

She was apprehended at her home and confessed to making the threats because she was mad at a nurse. Farias is charged with making terrorist threats, a felony, and was released on Sept. 23 with orders to stay away from Palm Mortuary.
