Spelman College welcomed its new Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and among the members is Zahara, the 18-year-old daughter of celebrity parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

She became part of history as she joined the league of black women in line with the first historically black sorority at Spelman College in Atlanta.

One thing noticed during the video when Zahara came to introduce herself was the Pitt name. She introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie. If you remember, back on Sept. 16, 2016, the celebrity parents announced their divorce, with Angelina filing.

“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie,”

She said as she shook her hair/head while performing her moves.

“Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of angels, Los Angeles, California… I am this line’s number seven.”

Zahara was wearing a black long dress with black gloves and pearls.

A video captured and posted on Instagram by Essence showed Zahara introducing herself as a new sorority member.

Fans reacted via the page, seeming really proud of Zahara for

“representing her roots,”

While some fans feel she grew up way too fast.

“Girl! She found her tribe..:skin-tone-5: Angelina did a great job. Culture and dynamics,”

A fan said in the comment.

“This makes me want to cry. This baby girl was raised in such a way that she could connect as much as possible to her roots. That is soooo commendable :skin-tone-5::heart_eyes:,”

One user wrote.

“Now why am I getting misty-eyed :sob: lol I just remember her being a little girl. Wow, time flies,”

Another person said.

Since Zahara moved to Atlanta last year, Angelina has been spotted visiting her daughter on campus.
Angelina was present at Spelman in October 2022 for homecoming, months after Zahara began studying at the college.

Brad Pitt previously gushed about Zahara, calling her his smart daughter.

“Zahara’s going to flourish even more at college. It’s an exciting and beautiful time to find her own way and pursue her interests. I’m so proud,”
