Authorities in Arizona are currently conducting an investigation into the tragic death of a 13-year-old boy. The incident occurred when Khalil Robinson, along with two other juveniles, was inside a car, People reported.
It is believed that they may have been filming a TikTok video at the time of the shooting. The Sierra Vista Police Department has confirmed the details of the incident, which took place on April 4th in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
“It was possible they were making a TikTok video,” Scott Borgstadt, the department’s public information officer, tells PEOPLE, “but we haven’t been able to confirm it yet.”
According to local news sources, the police received multiple reports of a shooting on April 4. Robinson passed away the following day at a hospital in Tucson, Arizona. The police spokesperson, Borgstadt, stated that one of the three boys involved in the incident is believed to be responsible for the shooting, although it remains uncertain whether it was accidental or intentional.
Due to their status as minors, the ages of the victims have not been disclosed. In order to provide support for Robinson’s family, a GoFundMe page has been established.
