Three TSA agents are accused of conspiring together to steal money from passengers at a security checkpoint at the Miami International Airport, Insider reports.

After an investigation was called for by the federal security director for law enforcement at MIA, police uncovered the three culprits. Elizabeth Fuster, 22, Labarrius Williams, 33, and 20-year-old Josue Gonzalez were arrested Thursday on charges of

“organized schemes to defraud,”

reports reveal.

After multiple reports of theft coming out of Checkpoint E, detectives launched an investigation into the matter. According to the outlet, surveillance footage captured the three TSA agents plotting to distract passengers during security screenings while they steal money from their luggage.

In one of the surveillance videos the three agents reportedly made off with $600 they took from a passenger’s wallet during a security screening. Along with

“several”

other incidents showing them committing theft, the outlet reported.

Fuster and Gonzalez waived their rights during an interview at the TSA Command Center and admitted to their actions in written statements. Williams however, decided to not waive his rights and declined to speak, according to WFOR-TV.

“The Transportation Security Administration holds its Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) to the highest professional and ethical standards and has no tolerance for misconduct in the workplace,”

the statement read.

“We actively and aggressively investigated these allegations of misconduct and presented our findings to MDPD, and are working closely with them. Any employee who fails to meet our fundamental ethical standards is held accountable.”
