Many beloved shows were canceled for all sorts of reasons, only to be brought back many years down the road again.

Here are five television shows that
experienced cancelation but were later revived:

1. All Rise:

A legal drama that was canceled by CBS but then picked up by OWN, a basic cable network, after its break of four months.

2. Arrested Development:

The fifteen-episode Netflix remake of the show came after a whopping seven-year break since the last three seasons run. This season had a division and was spread over two years that is, 2018 and 2019.

3. Law and Order:

NBC confirmed that Law & Order will be returning for a 23rd season. The Law & Order season 23 renewal was announced on April 10, 2023. The show returned for season 21 in 2022, after a 12-year absence from television.

4. Lucifer:

In less than five weeks that took place after the campaign #SaveLucifer, the supernatural procedural got an order from Netflix for season four and saved it from Fox cancellation. Netflix eventually commissioned and broadcast the fifth and sixth seasons, marking the conclusion of the series.

5. Unforgettable:

Following the first season, the show was canceled by CBS until it ordered for the second season. The series aired only one season cycle in A & E, the fourteenth and final season of the show, after season 3.
