Seeing Lady Gaga at her Las Vegas residency felt surreal, and Adele claimed that she “shat” herself. Not that Lady Gaga shared the stage with the British talent; still the singer felt honoured because she respected her a lot.

Adele’s Las Vegas Residency Since November

The show, tagged “Weekends with Adele”, started in November last year and has since been a go-to for celebrities, loved ones, and acquaintances. As per Page Six, since its inception, the likes of Shania Twain and Jennifer Lopez have attended. Non-celebrities, including the doctor who delivered Adele’s son, made their way to the venue. While these attendees made her feel honoured, the singer explained that she was never sure of who would be in the audience.

Amid the uncertainty, Adele wishes that her mom makes it to her Las Vegas residency someday. According to her THR interview:

“I’m going to wait — I want her to see it at the end. Because I think she’ll find it really emotional as well.”

Adele Claims She “Shat” Herself After Spotting Lady Gaga

Adele was brazenly honest while speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about her experience at her Las Vegas residency this past week. The “Hello” star said once she noticed Lady Gaga’s presence, she became tense and star-struck. Somehow, it affected her mindset and made her more conscious of herself.

In her words:

“I’ve spent a bit of time with her, but I rate her so hard. I was like, ‘The show’s terrible. It’s rubbish. I’m singing terribly. I’m not funny. My dress is rubbish this week.'”

Adele added that her relationship with Lady Gaga has taught her that the pop star is not judgmental. She said:

“I was judging myself. And she’s not like that.”

Unlike the celebrities who have visited her for the Las Vegas residency in the past, Adele knew that Lady Gaga would be present. Still, she was not prepared enough. Furthermore, the English singer maintained that Lady Gaga did not come as her usual self — “she just wasn’t dressed up,” she recalled.

Amid her fright, Adele has contributed immensely to the entertainment industry. The successful singer received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award on December 7. This was at the Hollywood Reporter’s annual Women in Entertainment event.
