André 3000’s New Song “New Blue Sun” Will Launch His Daring Solo Album After 17 Years

Artist
André 3000

Fans and lovers of André 3000, there’s new music set to be released this Friday, November 17, which is an 87-minute mind-boggling, ineffable, sparse, and innovative experience. His new sound and music promise to be daring. His songs have been in high demand, especially from his fans. There was a time in his musical journey when his fans were concerned about him.

He grew sporadically, topping every chart with the group

“OutKast,”

One of the best hip-hop duos of all time. Years later, he took off his creative hat, grieving the loss of three important people in his life (his parents and stepdad).

No one knew what he was up to unless there were days when he made discreet yet random appearances on social media sites, wandering around with his flute, finding himself. His fans try to keep up with him, sometimes against his wish, but he doesn’t let all that bother him. He said,

“I laugh at it because my homies in Atlanta, we’ll talk and they’ll be like, ‘Man, you know n***** think you crazy to f*** around with this flute.'”

This is a rap record; however, it lacks bars, beats, and sub-bass. André just plays the flute in this new song, which includes Contrabass flute, Mayan flute, bamboo flute, alongside digital wind instruments. He’s serving his fans provocative titles instead of lyrics, with the beginning seeming to look like an ironic apology:

“I swear, I Really Wanted To Make A ‘Rap’ Album But This Is Literally The Way The Wind Blew Me This Time.”

André has set a high standard for himself. With the standard placed before him, he hadn’t put out music in a long time. This may have resulted in him carefully thinking about the kind of music that speaks to one in a creative way, as an artist would want his/her songs to communicate to the listeners, leaving him to avoid releasing any piece for years.

André has mastered rap’s rigidity. He continues to push beyond limits with his melodic rhymes and styles that gave him accolades and a mass following.

“New Blue Sun”

Is destined to set André on a new tone, making him feel like his time is now. It seems that L.A. is the city meant for him, as everything came to him organically from New York. André and Nino hung out an insanely amount of time in the basement.

The result is simple but challenging. Mainly because it flies in the face of everything we know, selfishly demanding attention from André 3000 fans. Yet, somehow, the purely instrumental New Blue Sun

Exposes his unrefined soul and the delicate nature of his creative process in ways that the wordsmith’s fine-tuned verses tend to conceal.
