Anthony Anderson has been hospitalized following a stunt accident on a movie set. The “Blackish” actor shared two posts about what went wrong behind the scenes but seemed happy and healthy after suffering a deep contusion.

Anthony Anderson’s Hospital Post

After spending a night receiving treatment in the emergency room, Anthony made an informative post, telling his followers what happened. It was clear that it wasn’t a health scare as the actor looked cheerful while lying on a stretcher. The first post portrayed him as a man healing rapidly.

Anthony Anderson made efforts to prove that he was as healthy as a horse. The actor framed his posture by raising a peace sign. Much of the pain was evident in the caption that accompanied his post.

Via the comment section on Instagram:

“I spent the night in the emergency room. Movie set fight gone wrong. Me against two goons and a chair! Guess who didn’t win! Who needs a stuntman? Me, that’s who! I’m not as young as I used to be! CT scan and X-rays showed nothing fractured or broken in my back, just a deep contusion. That chair will never be the same though! Bloodied and bowed but never broken!”

Surely, there was nothing broken about the post, but fans showed support for the actor, asking him to be careful. Among those showing support was Tracee Ellis Ross, his onscreen wife on “Blackish.” Via a comment, she expressed her concern by writing:

“You are not made of rubber. I’m so glad you are okay.”

Anthony Anderson went the extra mile to reassure his audience that, despite his hospitalization, he had time for jokes. He shared a post of the chair he was up against, explaining that the zebra-like yellow and black furniture had eyes on him. But this time, the onscreen star was prepared and ready. He claimed, “he’s gonna learn today!”
