Beyoncé, the renowned artist, made a surprising announcement that her highly-anticipated follow-up album, ACT II, will be released in late March, during a Super Bowl commercial break over the weekend.

The album’s introduction was marked by the release of two singles,

“16 CARRIAGES”

and

“TEXAS HOLD EM’,”

which showcased Beyoncé’s unexpected outset into country music. While the genre of these tracks remains a topic of debate, they have not deterred fans from streaming them in large numbers. Apple Music has classified the songs as country, propelling Beyoncé to the top of its Country chart.

This achievement makes her the first black woman to accomplish such a feat. Some fans even reached out to K. Michelle, a rapper and singer who recently transitioned to country music, for her reaction to Beyoncé’s shift. Michelle clarified that there were no hard feelings and expressed her support.
