A revenge best served cold is one that cannot be forgotten. This trailer sets a concise tone that opens the story, driven by a world of revenge against those who made Mizu an outcast in Edo-Period Japan. She cuts a bloodbath path that propels her to her destiny.

“Blue-Eyed Samurai”

Is an animated film for adults, with gory action and television series details. It was created and written by the husband and wife team of Michael Green and Amber Noizumi.

During the 17th century in Japan, a half-white and half-Japanese swordsman embarks on a journey of vengeance against four men.

On the journey and quest for revenge, Mizu is joined by Ringo (Masi Oka), a soba master who dreams of greatness; Taigen (Darren Barnet), a proud samurai whose rivalry leads to a constrained suspension of hostilities; and Princess Akemi (Brenda Song), Taigen’s betrothed, whose life becomes intertwined with Mizu’s.

Mizu’s pursuit of revenge takes the audience across the Edo-Period Japan era in an exasperating series.

The series engrosses its viewers in an evocative adult animation with an on-the-edge action live experience.

In the early 17th century in Japan, during a time when the walls and borders were closed to the outside world, the people never saw a face that was not Japanese. Mizu remembers the white men and their presence during her birth in Japan. As she sets out on a journey to kill these men, among them might be Mizu’s father, who, despite being her father, made her a

“creature of shame.”

In this era, revenge is not a path that women tread, so Mizu must hide her gender and her blue eyes as she embarks on this quest before her.
