Many years have passed since Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake drummed up support for each other. But it finally happened after Spears revealed too much in her tell-all memoir about their failed romance. However, the singer called a truce by endorsing Justin Timberlake’s new music.

Britney Spears’ Memoir About Her Romance and Abortion For Justin Timberlake

Britney Spears recalled her romance with Justin Timberlake in her memoir, “The Woman In Me.” The blonde beauty talked about how a young and eccentric Timberlake cheated on her. Eventually, their young love resulted in a pregnancy, but they agreed to have an abortion.

As reported by TMZ, Spears wrote that Timberlake convinced her, but if the baby was someone else’s, she would have kept it. This gave fans the ammunition they needed to attack Timberlake. Spears’ followers immediately criticized the singer.

Though sources close to the author claimed that her big reveal was not intended to harm her ex, the damage had already been done. Once again, the animosity from fans emerged following Timberlake’s release of a new track titled “Selfish.” They resurfaced Spears’ old song, “Selfish,” and tried to make it top the charts.

Spears Tenders Apology While Showing Support For Timberlake’s New Music

Britney Spears uploaded a screenshot showing Justin Timberlake during his appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. She then proceeded with an apology and expressed her love for “Selfish,” Justin Timberlake’s new music.

In her words:

“I want to apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about, I am deeply sorry. I also wanted to say that I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish.’ It’s so good, and every time I see Justin and Jimmy together, I laugh so hard!”

She ended by telling fans that she had updated her playlist with two of Justin Timberlake’s new songs, including “Selfish” and “Sanctified.” But will fans stop being selfish with their emotions and come around?
