Brooklyn Rape Suspect Arrested, Tells Reporters The Home He Invaded Is A ‘Prostitution Spot’

A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman during a home invasion in Brooklyn, New York has proclaimed his innocence and alleged that the victim was a sex worker, according to the Daily News.

A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman during a home invasion in Brooklyn, New York has proclaimed his innocence and alleged that the victim was a sex worker, according to the Daily News

“I didn’t rape her!”

Mohammed Izzeddin shouted as he was led from the NYPD’s 66th Precinct stationhouse.

“It’s a prostitution spot!”

22-year-old man, Izzeddin, along with another individual, forcibly entered the victim’s residence near 59th St. and Ninth Ave. in Sunset Park around 6 p.m. on Saturday, as reported by the police.

Izzeddin proceeded to sexually assault the 49-year-old woman before fleeing the scene with his accomplice. The victim was transported to Maimonides Medical Center and is currently in stable condition.

Authorities apprehended Izzeddin, a resident of Bay Ridge, on Thursday. He is facing multiple charges, including rape, robbery, sexual abuse, and assault. Police are still searching for Izzedin’s accomplice.
