Universal Studios is ready to announce that a new Jurassic World movie may be returning to our screens sooner than expected. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a sequel to 2022’s Jurassic World Domination is currently in progress and could be released in 2025. The script for the movie is being personally written by David Koepp, who was also a writer for Jurassic Park.
Sources have also revealed that there is currently no director assigned to Universal’s new Jurassic World movie. However, Frank Marshall, the producer of the Jurassic World trilogy, will be returning for another adventure with dinosaurs, along with Patrick Crowley, an alumnus of the Jurassic World franchise. Steven Spielberg is also part of the crew and will serve as an executive producer.
The new Jurassic World film is being hailed as the creation of a ‘New Jurassic Era,’ featuring an entirely new storyline. This indicates that many of the previous characters, such as Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), are unlikely to return for the sequel.
