While speaking about her time on the set of

“Back in Action”

with Jamie Foxx, the actress takes time to shut down the rumors that she was never going to make another movie because of him. She describes her emotions regarding the topic as irate.

During the time Foxx was filming the upcoming Netflix action-comedy, barely eight months after he experienced a medical emergency, Diaz reminisces some of the absurd rumors that flew around at the time.

On the latest episode of Molly Sims’ Lipstick on the Rim Podcast, she reveals,

“I hate all of the things that were being said about our set at the time, you just want to scream at the top of your lungs, like, ‘What are you talking about?”.

She describes Foxx as the cheerleader for the entire crew, highlighting that everyone loves him and as a matter of fact, crew members are rest assured to have fun with him on set further describing him as a professional at every level.

According to Diaz, she heard rumors that Foxx went crazy on set and proceeded to make everything miserable.

However, the

“Bad Teacher”

star reinforced that she

“had a blast”

while making

“Back in Action,”

her first movie in nearly a decade. She praised Foxx describing him as the best,

“I love that guy so much, He’s such a special person and he’s so talented, so much fun.”

In regards to making the project, Diaz added,

“The hiccups that happened throughout the production are the natural kinds of things that happen, but nothing got delayed other than, obviously, toward the end. And that’s something that is not my place to speak about.”

In addition, Diaz referenced Foxx’s health describing the situation as thriving, and while she disclosed the Oscar Winner reassured her, she added that despite knowing the truth,

“it just really made me angry.”
