Florida Man Arrested After Biting Python’s Head Off During Argument With Girlfriend

On Monday, January 30th, at around 5:20 A.M., officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department responded to calls reporting a domestic dispute, Law And Crime stated. When police arrived at the apartment complex, they could hear the couple arguing, followed by a woman screaming loudly. After knocking on the door, the woman yelled out to them to “just kick the door in.”

The male, later identified as Kevin Justin Mayorga, attempted to run into one of the apartment’s rooms and close the door. As police chased after him, they ordered him to stop running and put his hands up, but Mayorga initially resisted. As the officers attempted to detain Mayorga, he began swinging at them, and hit one of them in the eye with a handcuff, causing a slight abrasion.

When Mayorga was detained with hand and leg restraints, the woman told police about her pet snake. According to the victim, Mayorga had grabbed her ball python and bit its head off just moments before the officers had entered their apartment. Next to the reptile enclosure, the decapitated animal was found.

Mayorga has now been charged with animal cruelty with intent to kill, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest. The 32-year-old is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $15,000 bond.

  • Man Reportedly Set Planned Parenthood Clinic On Fire After Former Girlfriend’s Abortion Three Years Ago

Man Reportedly Set Planned Parenthood Clinic On Fire After Former Girlfriend’s Abortion Three Years Ago

A man from Illinois has been accused of setting a Planned Parenthood clinic on fire after he was reminded and became

    “upset”

that his former girlfriend received an abortion three years ago, reports Complex News.

On Jan. 15, the man was captured on footage arriving at the building in his vehicle. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the footage showed Tyler W. Massengill, 32, getting out of his vehicle as he held a rag that was connected to

    “a  laundry detergent-sized bottle.”

He then set the rag on fire and proceeded to smash the clinic’s window and then put the bottle inside. During the attack, Massengill had his face covered.

Officials were then able to connect his vehicle to the crime, which they were able to do after receiving multiple tips. Initially, Massengill denied setting the fire; however, he later admitted to committing the crime. He informed officials that he did it because he remembered an abortion that his former girlfriend obtained three years ago. He confessed that she received the procedure in the Peoria vicinity while he was working in Alaska.

    According to the criminal complaint,

“On or around January 15, 2023, Massengill heard or saw something that reminded him of the abortion, again upsetting him… Massengill admitted that, on January 15, 2023, he broke the window out of the PHC and placed a burning container inside of the building.”

The HuffPost reported that Massengill admitted it was

    “all worth it”

if his actions resulted in someone’s abortion being delayed. The fire caused $1 million worth of impairments. The man has been charged with

“malicious use of fire and an explosive to damage, and attempt to damage,”

    reports the outlet.

  • Woman Sues Police After Getting Hit By Train While Sitting In A Parked Patrol Car Following Her Arrest

Woman Sues Police After Getting Hit By Train While Sitting In A Parked Patrol Car Following Her Arrest

A woman who was critically injured when the parked police vehicle she sat in following her arrest was hit by a train sued police on Thursday. Yareni Rios-Gonzalez claims that the three officers were behaving rashly and failed to ensure her safety while she was in their custody, reports FOX

On Sept. 16, the woman was placed in the backseat of a police car in Colorado, which was parked on railroad tracks. According to the lawsuit, the tracks were

    “plainly visible”

to Jordan Steinke, the arresting official, as Steinke stood on the tracks to place Rios inside the vehicle that belonged to Platteville Sgt. Pablo Vazquez.

Vazquez and Steinke of the Fort Lupton Police Department are listed in the lawsuit and are both being prosecuted. Another officer has also been named in the suit for failing to help Rios escape the car when he heard the train moving toward the vehicle; however, he hasn’t been charged. During the incident, reports say the passenger’s back door was open and Rios screamed for aid and attempted to escape but couldn’t because the car was designed to deter people from escaping.

Rios was placed in the backseat due to a road rage encounter that involved a firearm, which she has been reportedly charged for.

The lawsuit says, while the train was heading toward the vehicle, Vazquez and Steinke were focused on searching Rios’ vehicle, which was filmed on a body camera. Seconds after the car was struck by the train going nearly 50 mph, arresting officers confirmed Rios’ was in the patrol car. After the encounter, Vazquez informed the other officers that he didn’t know the car was on the tracks when he parked behind her vehicle to conduct the arrest. He added that he had no idea Rios’ was placed inside the vehicle by Steinke.

  • Best Buy Deliveryman Faces Mandatory Life In Prison After Attacking 75-Year-Old Customer and Setting Her On Fire

Best Buy Deliveryman Faces Mandatory Life In Prison After Attacking 75-Year-Old Customer and Setting Her On Fire

A Best Buy delivery driver in Florida was found guilty after fatally attacking an elderly customer, Evelyn Smith Udell, with a rubber hammer and then setting her ablaze, according to the New York Post. 24-year-old Jorge Dupre Lachazo was convicted on Wednesday of

“first-degree murder, burglary, and arson following a three-day bench trial,”

says court records, according to The Post.

The 24-year-old delivered a dryer and washer to the 75-year-old woman’s home with another man on Aug. 19, 2019. After the two men installed the appliances, Lachazo stayed inside the home to explain to the woman how to use the equipment, while the other man stepped outside. Shortly after, a witness said they heard screams. Udell was discovered on the floor covered in blood and contacted emergency officials. The Best Buy employee then left in the company’s truck; however, he was later found by officials.

Lachazo confessed to attacking the woman as well as consuming cocaine and marijuana earlier in the day. Officials found a rubber maker utilized to attack the woman as well as a can of paint thinner, which was reportedly used to start the blaze next to the elderly woman’s body, which burned her skin. Officials learned that the woman’s wallet was disturbed, which implied that robbery was a motive for the attack.

Defense attorneys argued that the attack wasn’t premeditated nor done purposely, and debunked the prosector’s story about the attack being

    “motivated by greed.”

Lachazo is currently facing mandatory life in prison and will be sentenced on April 5.

  • Man Facing Kidnapping Charges After Luring 18-Year-Old Au Pair From Italy With Fake Job and Sexually Assaulting Her, Reports Say

Man Facing Kidnapping Charges After Luring 18-Year-Old Au Pair From Italy With Fake Job and Sexually Assaulting Her, Reports Say

A man from Michigan, Arisknight Arkin-Everett Winfree, 31, reportedly enticed an au pair to his home, locked her up, and then sexually assaulted her, which was captured on camera, say, officials, reports the New York Post

Reports say the young woman, who is merely 18 years old, went to Michigan from Italy to become the man’s nanny. She was informed through the au pair website that she will be caring for the man’s niece and cleaning the home; however, Winfree’s niece was nonexistent.

The incident occurred back in October shortly after the au pair arrived at his home. Federal officials say the home’s windows were concealed with newspapers as there were cameras placed throughout the residence. Winfree urged the nanny to head to his bedroom in her robe as she was about to take a shower after a day full of chores and being inappropriately touched by him, which she declined.

Winfree then grabbed the 18-year-old and handcuffed her. Luckily, she was able to make a complaint to officials online. She wrote,

“I was afraid and he ordered me to stay still and be (quiet). I felt I was dying. He put his hand on my nose and mouth and then placed a gag ball on my mouth.”

The 31-year-old man groped her and questioned if she consented to what he was doing, and she said yes because she was scared, which she wrote. She went on to write that he took videos and pictures of her. The man took her to a room that was empty, where he tied her up and sexually attacked her. Reports say the room had a camera in it. According to a complaint, the unidentified victim wrote that she eventually became free and booked a flight home after he took her to a bus stop.

Cameras from the man’s home were later taken by federal officials. Yet, this isn’t Winfree’s first encounter like this as he had two other encounters with young women prior to this incident, and one girl was allegedly 17 years old.

The 31-year-old is facing kidnapping and sexual exploitation of a child charges reports The Post.
