Chris Tucker talks about working on Fifth Element with Bruce Willis, who is off-camera due to health issues, and The Legend Tour. The 52-year-old told fans how much they clicked when working on the film together.

Chris Tucker’s Fifth Element Confession About Bruce Willis

Tucker is nowhere near retirement. The comedian and actor is traveling across the country in honor of The Legend Tour. Once People caught up with him, he told the news outlet about his former co-star, Bruce Willis.

In a refreshing burst of honesty, Tucker confessed that he has not seen Willis eye to eye, but his heart has remained with the actor.

He added:

“Bruce is such a huge star and such a legendary actor. The whole thing was showing up to the set, seeing him was always awesome. I’ll never forget it. Working with him, it was an awesome time.”

Fans would remember that their homeboy Chris Tucker was D.J. Ruby Rhod in the sci-fi film Fifth Element. Onscreen, he gets into a funny entanglement with Willis’ cab driver character, Korben Dallas.

Following his appearance in Fifth Element, Tucker teamed up with Jackie Chan in the comedy series Rush Hour. He also starred next to Ice Cube in the ever-green film Friday.

Fans seem not to have gotten over the actor’s comic personae, and for years, they have touted rumors of a continuation of the classics — Rush Hour 4 and Friday. However, Tucker has successfully tucked the gossip aside, maintaining that he is in touch with his comedy on stage for now.

Tucker shocked fans when he announced his The Legend Tour. This was because he had been away for close to ten years. But somehow, he has proved that blacks don’t crack by bringing on the right degree of excitement with his comedic tour. The fifth Element actor intends to surf more than thirty states in the US as he gets along with his The Legend Tour.

Bruce Willis Is Diagnosed With Dementia

Bruce Willis has a resume that speaks for itself even though he has stopped working. The news of his premature retirement came last year after he was diagnosed with aphasia. Once the family realized the condition worsened, they persisted in their search to understand what was wrong. That was when they were told that Willis had developed frontotemporal dementia.

Fortunately, Willis has a loving family, including his wife, daughters, and ex-wife, who have rallied around him. Support has also come from friends and former co-stars like Tucker, who has maintained a prayerful life for his sake.
