Despite retiring from their roles as Timmy’s Fairy Godparents in the previous Fairly Odd Parents animated series, Cosmo and Wanda are set to abandon retirement and return to screens as they grant wishes for a new protagonist in the brand new ‘The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish’.
Nickelodeon’s Fairly OddParents centered around Timmy Turner, a 10-year-old boy whose wishes are granted thanks to his Fairy Godparents, Cosmo and Wanda. The show first aired from 2001 to 2006. It was later revived in 2008 and lasted until 2018, directed by Butch Hartman.
The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish follows Hazel, a 10-year-old girl who recently moved to the city of Dimmadelphia after her dad secured a new job and her brother moved away to college.
Hazel is rumored to be voiced by Ashleigh Hairston. It has also been confirmed that Norris and Susanne Blakeslee are reprising their roles as Cosmo and Wanda from the original series.
A new ‘FAIRLY ODDPARENTS’ series is reportedly in the works for Netflix.
