During a red carpet interview, Danielle Brooks stopped to chat with a reporter where she talked about her recent movie

“The Color Purple”

and a new movie with Jason Momoa.

“I’m excited, oh my god, Jason Momoa, Jack Black, those two alone, I’m very happy to be in their company. There are amazing moments that are happening that I’m journaling about. I just want to remember all the details: how things smell, what people wear. It’s what ‘The Color Purple’ talks about, passing the color purple in a field and not noticing. I’m trying to notice everything because this stuff goes by so fast,”

says Brooks.

The film was directed by Blitz Bazawule and written by Marcus Gardley, Alice Walker, and Marsha Norman.
The ensemble of actors for the next video game movie, Minecraft, now includes Danielle Brooks.

The actress will have an exciting year ahead of her. She is currently promoting

“The Color Purple.”

Jason Momoa is currently featured in the Minecraft film.
Sebastian Eugene Hansen and Danielle Brooks will be also be appearing in Warner Bros. and Legendary’s Minecraft film.

The Jason Momoa-starring film adaptation of the beloved computer game is being directed by Jared Hess.
