When they realize they are falling in love with their imposters, they decide to steal the identities of their android counterparts and go on the run. This forces Elaine and Charles to join forces and reclaim their lives. While there are a few slow moments and sentimental scenes about the value of being human, overall it is an enjoyable movie.

3. 57 Seconds

A tech blogger unlocks the power of a time-altering device to rewrite the past and seek revenge against a ruthless corporate empire that destroyed his family. However, his actions set off a chain of events that lead to a terrifying battle for survival, where every second counts.

Blogger Franklin Fausti (Josh Hutcherson) foils an attack against Anton Burrell (Morgan Freeman), a visionary tech guru he has the chance to interview. He discovers a ring that Burrell dropped, which grants the wearer the ability to travel 57 seconds into the past. With Burrell’s assistance, Franklin decides to use this power to take revenge against the pharmaceutical company responsible for his sister’s death.

4. Gray Matter

Aurora has always known that her superhuman abilities also make her dangerous. However, on one fateful and fatal night, Aurora will discover if her mother was telling the truth. This Max movie lacks suspense and character, making it a run-of-the-mill sci-fi thriller that typically appeals to insomniac Tubi watchers at 3 a.m.

5. Fingernails

Fingernails envisions a future where a specific technology has revolutionized the world. In this timeline, scientists have found a way to definitively determine if two people are in love.

Anna and Ryan have found true love, which is scientifically proven. However, Anna still has doubts. When she takes a position at a love testing institute and meets Amir, things become more complicated. Fingernails is an American science fiction romance film released in 2023.

6. Aporia

Since losing her husband Mal (Edi Gathegi) in a drunk-driving incident, Sophie (Judy Greer) has struggled to cope with overwhelming grief, a full-time job, and the challenges of raising her devastated teenage daughter (Faithe Herman). When her husband’s best friend Jabir (Payman Maadi), a former physicist, reveals that he has been building a time-bending machine that could restore her previous life, Sophie will be faced with an impossible choice and unforeseeable consequences.

7. The Creator

In a future war between the human race and artificial intelligence, ex-special forces agent Joshua is recruited to hunt down and eliminate the Creator, the enigmatic architect of advanced AI. The Creator has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war and wipe out humanity. Joshua and his team of elite operatives venture into enemy-occupied territory. They then discover that the world-ending weapon is actually an AI in the form of a young child.
